In this work, copper plates serve as a carrier. Daily walking bears a language—biblical text—transformed into binary code. This conversion turns one world toward another: the sacred of the earth emerges as logos, then is translated into another logos—digital logos, the most basic binary message of digital matter.
The marks pressed into the copper are unconscious bodily movements; I hope to weave conscious thought into everyday walking. Placing these plates and walking is like a ritual, fusing both into the traces of the walk. Reassembled, the traces form another path; with AR, this virtual road is cast into the real, and walking it again produces new copper traces.
