Edward Cheung is a doctoral candidate in Contemporary Visual Culture at the National Taiwan University of Arts. He holds an MA in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and trained in art therapy. He has taught as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts at CUHK and as an instructor at HKU SPACE, and currently teaches at CUHK’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS). He founded Blueprint Studio in Hong Kong (2015) and Taiwan (2025). Working across painting, performance and installation, the Blueprint series addresses dispersion and assembly, the individual and the collective, city and nature—recombining small units into a whole as a pursuit of an ideal world and a personal utopia. The Tower of Babel concentrates energy and structure; grassland stands for origin and inclusiveness; the mountain for return and simplification.
